ANDREW JIMENO

Andrew is a rare Austin-native. He earned his BBA in Business Management from Texas State University-San Marcos, where he found his passion for HR through the university’s SHRM chapter. After an HR internship at the university, he interned at T3, an Austin-based advertising agency. Andrew spent nearly 11 years there, mostly as the lone recruiter working across tech, design, strategy, media, and much more. From leading recruitment for the internship program in the early T3 years to hiring VP-level talent and leading manager/interview training, Andrew’s journey at T3 assured him that a career in recruiting was what he wanted long-term; watching people you’ve helped hire grow and develop with a company and form life-long friendships is hard to beat. After breaking out the old resume for the first time in almost 11 years, in early 2020 he moved on to join the Talent Acquisition team at Whole Foods Market where he now focuses primarily on recruiting for the Marketing team.

Outside of work, Andrew spends the most time with his wife and son. He takes on the connector role in his hobbies as well and is often recruiting folks to join him in various social sports leagues (footgolf, soccer, volleyball, bowling, and more). Most weekends though, you’ll find him out on one of Austin’s many beautiful golf courses.
